The Miller Electric folks invited me to join them in St. Paul on July 22, 23, 24 and be a part of their display at the Car Craft Summer Nationals. Starting just five days after the end of the Syracuse National in New York it was a quick stop at my home in Ohio before heading west. I decided to go a different route for my trip to St Paul. I took the rapid ferry across Lake Michigan. After leaving Muskegon, MI it was a short 2 1/2 hour trip to Milwaukee. It also eliminated the trip through the madness of Chicago and it's infamous traffic. Check out the video that I took during the boat trip.

This was my first visit to the Car Craft Summer Nationals. I was impressed. There were over 4,000 vehicles registered and it was definitely horsepower heaven. The Miller tent was right next to the main stage and a center of activity all weekend. Everyone that stopped by really appreciated the performance aspect of our 409 powered 55 Chevy Road Tour ride. It was a fun weekend and I am already looking at the possibility of taking a Road Tour group there next season. Watch our website for all of the latest Road Tour information.
