California Car Covers, Chatsworth, CA, to NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals, Pueblo, CO
The Golden Shine Tour: Los Angeles to Pueblo
Just as the Vintage Air Tour ends, the Golden Shine Tour begins on Monday morning in Chatsworth, California at the headquarters of Golden Shine and its parent company, California Car Covers. Golden Shine is the official car care products company of the Road Tour. After our morning visit in Chatsworth we will head for the lights of Las Vegas. Monday afternoon we will be welcomed at the private car and automobilia collection of Art Goldstrum. Monday night we will be staying at the Palms Resort and have the opportunity to enjoy the fun of an evening in Las Vegas.
Tuesday morning the Golden Shine Tour will head to the Las Vegas Speedway area for a tour of the expansive track facilities. We will also be taking a tour of the Shelby America Museum and manufacturing plant that is located adjacent to the track. From Las Vegas we will take a route that will wind through the breathtaking scenery of Zion National Park and on to Richfield, Utah for Tuesday evening. Wednesday the trip across Utah will be beautiful as we tour the Moab area and get a look at the famous arches rock formations. Wednesday afternoon we will arrive in Grand Junction, see the Tami Allen Car Collection and visit the Colorado National Monument in the evening.
Thursday the drive to Pueblo will take us across Route 50 where we will cross Monarch Pass at 11,000 feet and then stop at the amazing Royal Gorge area. By Thursday afternoon we will arrive in Pueblo and settle in for a weekend of fun at the NSRA Rocky Mountain Nationals plus at the Colorado State Fairgrounds. It is always a good time in Pueblo and we will have a special hospitality tent at the fairgrounds all weekend for the Gold Shine Tour participants.
The Vintage Air Tour and the Golden Shine Tour will be a great two weeks of fun on the road. Make plans now to join us on either Tour or take a few weeks and join us on both.
