It was a great weekend in Burlington at the NSRA Northeast Street Rod Nationals. The weather was crisp and clear on Friday, sunny Saturday morning with some showers in the afternoon and back to sunny blue skies on Sunday. There were over 1400 registered vehicles and plenty of spectators all weekend to enjoy then.
Saturday evening the participants on the Steele Rubber Products Triple Crown Challenge got together for a final meal as a group . Six vehicles with eleven participants completed the three back to back to back Road Tours. Starting at the US Nationals in Indy, continuing to the Shades of the Past event in Pigeon Forge then on to NSRA Nationals North in Kalamazoo and then to Burlington it was a great three weeks.
Awards were announced at 2pm on Sunday. Three of our Road Tourians were singled out for special recognition.
This makes the seventh Tour in the books for the 2012 season. The last one will be the Sherm’s Custom Plating Tour as we have 100 vehicles lined up to head to the SEMA Show the first week of November.
