The 2012 AMSOIL/Street Rodder Road Tour car is a '40 Ford coupe based on a brand-new chassis from Fatman Fabrications, topped off with a new all-steel body. In keeping with the new approach, power for the coupe will be supplied by a new 5.0L Coyote motor from Ford Racing coupled to an automatic six-speed transmission from Gearstar. Blending all these new parts into a great street rod will be handled by Troy Ladd and his crew at Hollywood Hot Rods.
