The big event came last night June 6 as our 1951 Ford Road Tour ride was unveiled in front of a huge crowd at Coker Tire in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The event coincided with the Hot Rod Power Tour stop in Chattanooga.
Corky Coker kicked off the ceremonies with thanks to everyone that helped make this evening possible. As Greg Cunningham and the build team from Honest Charley’s Garage stood behind their latest creation Street Rodder Magazine editor Brian Brennan and Road Tour pilot Jerry Dixey took the stage. Brian thanked all of the great sponsors on this years project and Jerry invited the crowd to join one of the eight AMSOIL/Street Rodder Road Tour this summer.
Gregg Cunningham took the mike and introduced the Honest Charley’s Garage talented team. The California Car Cover was pulled back and a cheer went up from the crowd. The PPG gold paint popped and everyone was impressed with the stance and overall look of the 2013 Road Tour ride.
In one week the 2013 AMSOIL/ Street Rodder Road Tour begins with the Aeromotive Tour traveling from the NHRA Hot Rod Reunion in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the huge Back to the 50′s event in St. Paul.
